I helped take Iniflex, a twenty-year-old ERP for plastics plants in Brazil and Latin America, off the desktop and onto the web.

The problem

Iniflex is the heart of the companies that run it. Manufacturing, inventory and finance all live there. Moving it to the web meant moving their records too, without stopping a shop floor.

What I did

I wrote Java backend components for the new web platform, and the PL/SQL that carried manufacturing, inventory and financial records across. I worked inside a mixed agile team, so the web app matched how plastics plants actually operate.

What changed

Iniflex became a fully web-based platform. Thousands of critical records moved over and every one of them arrived.
